PPA Assignment week of September 19th:
1. Use the calorie Calculator on freedieting.com to determine your calorie needs/day! Use the “advanced option” and choose the Katch-McCardle formula.
2. Use either spark people or the daily plate to track your food for at least 3 days, staying at the determined fat loss calories/day.

I enjoyed our workout tonight. I was frustrated because I felt like I overeat today! Bummer….I’m trying hard to lose 2 pounds this week. Great idea for the easy salsa..I’ll try it!

I have stuck with my goals this week, and on Wednesday morning I did the strength training, and Thursday AM the interval. I plan to do the interval training Friday AM, and the group session on Saturday morning. This is all new to me since I have not exercised in forever. Wow to think that 15 years ago this would have been a piece of cake for me. I’m thinking positive and not giving up. See you all on Saturday AM.

My friend had an emergency and cancelled our workout so I thought maybe I’ll cancel too. But I got my family to join me and did it.

I am planning to do JR’S workout tonight at the LS Y. I hope to see some of you there. I did it before and we are all capable! Everything is done at our own pace and you rotate sets of exercises. Some running also involved but again its at your own pace. Lets attack it together! We can do it team!!!!
Hi All, I did not work out yesterday (bummer) – I have an IRS deadline at work of 10-15 and I worked 14 hours yesterday. So….. today I am going to walk with running intervals for 3 miles and go to John’s class at 6:30. I’ve been eating pretty well although I’m not eating every 3 hours because I get so busy – I’m eating my meals but not any snacks and I do find I’m hungry at times, so I have to be more mindful of eating small amounts more regularly. And… If I have a glass of wine or drink – I’m only having one – improvement for me – I always had 2 glasses of wine (or more depending on the festivities), if I drank at all. I’ve also been mindful of portion control – there have been times when I have wanted to eat more at a meal but I haven’t, and I’ve still felt full for a longer than I thought I would (which is why I forget to eat healthy snacks and then all of a sudden, I’m starving!). My goal is to lose 8-10 pounds by the end of this program and to lose 20 lbs by next summer and then keep it off! Have a good week everyone! Elaine
I did John’s class last night at LS. What a killer! Oooppps, I mean what a joy that was! (positive thinking) haha Tonight I am making up Saturdays class with Luke since I will be going out of town over the weekend. I will miss you team. Looking forward to seeing all of you again on Monday.
Thanks Elice. I also worked out at home Wednesday but Thursday was way too busy. Today I am just being lazy. Keep moving in the right direction Elise : )
