GROUP EXERCISE


GROUP EXERCISE  at emPower is a great way to get a challenging workout with highly qualified instructors and a great group of people!  We have four different types of group exercise to accomdate you.

 

 

Group Basic focuses on strength training, and provides stronger focus on form with more instruction for those who are learning the exercises and gradually increasing fitness level to prepare for the intensity of our level 2 class, SPARTA.

 

SPARTA

Sparta is a high-intensity, full-body, interval style routine which incorporates strength and core training along with cardio exercise. While we do offer many modifications, this class isn't for everyone. It will challenge your muscles, endurance, and mind.  It is designed to strip fat and tone up those "soft" areas while improving your cardiovascular system. With everyone doing something different you never have to worry about someone watching or judging you… you can do your own thing and work at your own pace. You will push out as many reps as possible in the allotted time… and the next time you will go for more!

This is the same class that has taken off in other area clubs… and quickly become the most popular class they have ever run (yep, it crushed BodyPump, Zumba, and all the rest!). Why? Because it is proven and it works. Not only do participants burn as many as 900 calories in a single class… the "afterburn" continues to burn fat for up to 48 hours post exercise.will get your hearts pumping, sweat flowing, and muscles burning with lots of cardio and metabolic training.  As Sgt. March likes to say "You can rest when we're done."
 
 

INTERVAL TRAINING

Incinerate fat with this 45 minute interval training cardio workout!  All levels of fitness will benefit from this class!  Interval training has been proven through research to be the most effective type of cardio exercise for burning fat.  Short and intense work intervals will be followed by longer rest intervals that include ab and core work.

 

All Classes: $8/class or $50/month (unlimited classes).

 

Currently offering Group Basic Tuesday and Thursday 5:30-6:30pm

Currently offering Sparta Tuesday and Thursday 6:45-7:45pm

Currently offering Interval Training on Wednesday at 6am and Saturday at 10am.

CYCLING!!

This  45 minute "freestyle" cycling class is the instructor’s choice of music and motivation.  This class has climbs, interval work,  and free spins to make the ride a super calorie burner and an excellent cardio workout!

Friday: 7pm

Saturday: 9am

Classes are $8/class, or purchase a punch card of 10 classes for $75.
