PERSONAL TRAINING


We use the FMS screen for all new clients!  The screen is a series of 7 basic movement patterns that are scored.  The scores will reveal your unique strengths, imbalances, range of motion restrictions, and stability issues that would put you at risk for injury while training as well as decrease the quality of movement in your everyday life.   We use the scores from the FMS screen to develop a corrective plan for your weakest movement pattern!   Your scores are also a great standard to compare your progress to when retested after training for a period of time.  Many elite athletics (US Ski team, NFL to name a few) as well as physical therapists and elite personal trainers are now using the FMS to help their clients move and train better!   Read more at http://www.functionalmovement.com/fms.

 

Semi Private Personal Training:

What is Semi Private Personal Training?  A training format that involves 2-4 people training together with one trainer.  Shared training sessions like this have been growing in popularity over the last several years because it offers a multitude of advantages over one-on-one training.  It is up to 50% more cost-effective than one-on-one private training. It opens up the training diversity to include dynamic partner drills and circuit style training.  It offers a subtle social dynamic that makes the training experience more enjoyable. Small group training also offers the opportunity to be personally coached and trained to use excellent technique at appropriate level of challenge with a goal-specific workout.  In a nutshell, in a small group:

We offer semi-private training all through the week, starting at the following times:

Monday, Wednesday: 5,6,7,8, and 9am and 4, 5, 6, and 7pm

Tuesday: 6am, 7am, 8am, 9am

Thursday 6am, 7am, 8am

Friday: 5, 6, 7, 8am-9am and 4pm,5pm, 6pm

Saturday: 8am, 9am
