2482 Horseshoe Road, Lancaster, PA
SATURDAY, MAY 22, 2021
Competitive waves begin at 8am with all wave times assigned the week of the event.
HUGE NEWS!!!
We weren't able to host the emPowered OCR at Clipper Magazine Stadium in 2020 due to the pandemic, but we are making up for it in 2021!
We are happy to announce that we WILL BE running an OCR in 2021! Not only that, but we plan to run more than one!
The first event will be held at the emPowered Obstacle Barn (2482 Horseshoe Road, Lancaster, PA) and will make use of the iconic (and ridiculous) "Goat Path" and the Barn! This will be a unique race for sure... but rest assured, this will be a true OCR. We will be running a second event at the barn this summer and conclude with the emPowered OCR at Clipper Magazine Stadium! (If we can acquire the permits - pandemic dependent)
Race one or complete all three for the TRINITY!
Saturday, May 22, 2021 (emPowered Obstacle Barn)
Saturday, July 24, 2021 (emPowered Obstacle Barn)
TBD (Clipper Magazine Stadium)
Approximately 5k with more than 20 challenging obstacles!
Competitive waves, open waves, and team/group waves are available. (*Competitive athletes will need to submit their 5k time for verification and wave placement.)
MORE DETAILS WILL BE RELEASED AS WE LEAD UP TO THE EVENT, but event 1 (May 22) registration is NOW OPEN:
EARLY BIRD PRICING ENDS MAY 1
*Please note that all start times are subject to change depending on number of registrations and the weather. This is a RAIN OR SHINE event. In the event of extreme weather (lightening, hail, tornado, or other act of God) we will delay the event until the weather clears. Our team will do everything possible to keep to a schedule but we thank you for your understanding ahead of time! NO REFUNDS will be issued for any reason other than cancellation of the event.

We know a thing or two about running an OCR! But don't just take our word for it...A well-run local obstacle race is a great find. A well-run local obstacle race that’s for a good cause is a gem.
emPower Training Systems and The Mighty Mehal Foundation teamed up to bring Lancaster, PA its first ever stadium-style obstacle race. The 3.25-mile course took place in and around Clipper Magazine Stadium, home to the Lancaster Barnstormers. A lot of local “obstacle” races I’ve experienced tend to be more of a glorified mud run than obstacle race. emPowered OCR was a true obstacle race that challenged competitive athletes while ensuring new racers would have a blast. |
