Competitive Waves:
- OBSTACLES ARE MANDATORY COMPLETION WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE STRIKE ZONE CHALLENGE. If you fail the Strike Zone Challenge you must complete 15 burpees before moving on. You cannot burpee out of any other obstacle. You may make multiple attempts on every other obstacle but MUST YIELD TO COMPETITORS ON THEIR FIRST ATTEMPT. There may be penalty loops required before being allowed to retry certain obstacles. You will receive a wristband at registration. If you cannot complete an obstacle you must surrender your wristband to the volunteer at that obstacle and you will no longer be eligible for prizes.

- Awards will be held at approximately 11am (subject to change)
Open Waves:
- What if I can't do an obstacle??? You are encouraged to do what you can and what you are comfortable with. If you can't complete an obstacle you can simply go around it!
Team Waves:
- Can we help each other? YES! The object is to get your entire team through the course as fast as possible!
- You must complete each obstacle together. Members of your team may not move on to the next obstacle until everyone has completed the previous obstacle (or decided not to complete the obstacle).
- Are there team awards? There is a special award for the fastest team who completes every obstacle.
Family Waves:
- How does the family wave work? The family wave is a unique option! We encourage parents, grandparents, kids, and everyone to run together! There will be some scaled obstacles for those who aren't quite up for the big stuff. All participants 13 and up must purchase a full-price ticket and children 12 and under are just $15 each. With the full price ticket participants 13+ may run BOTH an open/competitive wave AND the family wave at no extra charge! So if you buy an individual ticket to compete in the competitive wave, you can run again later with your kids at no additional charge (for you)!
- Is there an age restriction? We believe parent's know best... so there is no restriction! BUT, remember there are no strollers or wagons allowed on the course... so if your kiddo can't complete the distance you now have an extra obstacle - the child carry!
General Stuff:
- Will there be photographers on the course! Heck yeah! Be patient, it may take some time to get the photos up but rest assured we will have some folks out there to capture your adventure!
- Will there be any water stations? Yes! Water will be available approximately half way through the course and at the finish. You are welcome to run with your own water if you like... but remember, if you take it on the course with you... you need to take it off the course with you!
- What time does the course close? 90 minutes after the last wave starts.
- What time does the venue close? 30 minutes after the course closes.
- How will the course be marked? There will be a variety of markings from spray paint to tape to barricades. It will be clearly marked but volunteers will be present to help you out!
- What kind of obstacles should I expect? A course map will be released close to the date of the race. We want to challenge those that are competitive but make it fun for all! A majority can be completed by all. There will also be some smaller versions of some obstacles for the kids!
- Will there be mud??? NO!
- What if I can't do an obstacle?! We encourage everyone to give it a try... but if you can't you can't! No worries! You can simply go around. Competitive wave is mandatory completion, but even then you can opt to give up your chance at prizes and placement and skip an obstacle. It is only mandatory to be eligible for prizes and placement. Remember - for all open and family waves you are encouraged to help one another and do what you have to do to get through it! There is no real wrong way in these waves.
- Is there a course map? You betcha... it will be released close to the actual event! Until then, let the suspense build!!!
- Is there a bag check? Yup, just $5
- Is there parking on site? Yes, and it's FREE!
- What about spectators? Spectators are FREE! There is a designated area in the stadium or anywhere along the OUTSIDE of the course. Spectators are NOT allowed ON the course. Spectators are welcome in the festival area of the stadium concourse.
- What else you got? There will be a DJ, concessions, vendors, and fun all day long!
