Anyone not responding and day of registrations will receive a placement at the end. IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER BEFORE THE ONLINE REGISTGRATION CUTOFF, YOU MAY NOT BE SEEDED IN THE FIRST WAVES. - We are keeping the mandatory obstacle completion rule but starting this year we will be following the Italian OCR format. You will receive three wristbands. If you fail an obstacle you must give up a wristband and retry. Every failed obstacle, even the same obstacle, will cost you a wristband. We call it the THREE STRIKE RULE! The number of wristbands you have at the Finish does not matter as long as you have at least one! There are no additional points for keeping all three. If you lose all three, that's three strikes and you are out of the standings. You only need to keep one. You can hit a home run with two strikes! (*Note: wristbands do not apply to the strike zone challenge. That is one attempt with a burpee penalty. You do not lose a wristband and you do not try again. You simply do your burpees and move on)
- Additionally, please remember you must yield to oncoming athletes who are on their first attempt if you are retrying an obstacle.
Military/First Responder Team Challenge
- Each group will get their own wave start time. The next group will be released 10 minutes later. There is no limit to the size of your team! And only the fastest three from your team will be counted in the results. Those three must wait and complete the course together as a team and cross the finish line holding hands. The fastest team wins the coveted perpetual trophy to display in your station/work center for an entire year and have your name immortalized on a plaque on the base for all times. Each year it will be up for grabs! So who's going to keep it and get to show it off?
- All team members must use the same lane on an obstacle!
- Team members must wait at the end of the obstacle for the rest of their 3 man team.
- If members from a team and a wave behind you catch up to you on the course you must yield to those faster runners to allow them to pass you and continue on. No blocking lanes.
Open
- Run it, walk it, crawl it, throw your buddy over the wall... you do you.
- These waves are not timed.
- Waves will be released approximately every 10 minutes. The first three waves will be reserved for those who want an earlier start time and want to run the course without children in the waves.
Team
- Have a formal or informal race team or group of co-workers or friends who want to race? Want your own wave?! Sweet. Have one person fill out the team form and submit it with the names of everyone on your team. We will get you your own wave! 40 people. Want to run with some friends but don't have 40? No worries, we will put you together in a wave with others! Just have the captain fill out the form.
Kids
- A responsible adult must accompany all children 12 and under through the entire course.
- No cost for family members to accompany and cheer on young athletes!
- There is no minimum age requirement. We believe that should be determined by the parents or guardians. Some obstacles may be too big or challenging and it is fine to skip them. In some cases there may be smaller options.
